Bakers Joinery undertakes the restoration of village signs that are in a poor state of repair as well as the design and production of new ones. Recent projects have included the refurbishment and redecoration of a National Beacon for the village of Purfleet and the repair and redecoration of the village sign at Widdingon.

Our projects ensure attention to detail with hand carving, colour matching and hand decoration to ensure the sign retains its historical authenticity. We thoroughly enjoy working on these projects as each village sign is unique echoing the historical past of the village and is often a main focal point.
